haven't posted anything in a while, so here is my latest little monster. it is from forged 5160 spring steel and is 8.75" overall. deep hollow grind and our frosted Crime Scene etched finish. the scales are black linen micarta with matching micarta pins. this is another "one of" that i had to get out of my system.

Nice piece! Is it for sale? Just asking because I have a friend who would love this (doesn't hurt that it also bears his nickname from his USMC days).

thanks for the kind words. i have no idea about the weight. not sure if i have ever been asked that question before. it is not going be like carrying a little case folder, but it is not gonna pull your pants down. i carry a similar sized knife daily in my front jeans pocket. i never even notice it, until i need to use it.

Ok that realy does evoke the image of a mad wolf/godling just waiting for the chance to spring free.

Artisitically a great job. I like it.

do also like it. i like the one in the background very much as well. very nice.

i had to edit this post twice because my son is jabbing me with a bokken!

thanks, that nice hollow grind makes for a slim slicing edge. the background blade is a Stormcrow with the same Crime Scene finish. it is about to head off to a new dealer i picked up. fingers crossed that it will do well. that particular one has black jack oak scales. don't see that wood used a lot. i like that it was locally sourced.
