FFL headache

Classic Firearms in North Carolina they sent a copy of their license and they already had mine on file. It was just a courtesy.

Don't forget that copies expire and it's easier just to send everyone a new one every time than try to keep track of who has an updated copy.

I have run into the same situation a couple of times here in Virginia. I found that going into the receiving FFL's store and politely explaining the situation and asking them to please send theirs, they did. Politeness with a smile usually does the trick. If it doesn't work, then as others have said, find a new FFL.

Kinda reminds me of one time getting a delivery at work one day. Heavy crate.

So I ask the driver to help me get it down off his truck.

"That's not my job," he snaps. "Get it yourself."

I sit down. He stands there looking at me like a dumba$$ for a couple of minutes.

Finally, I say "It's not my job either, jacka$$. Whaddya wanna do? Sit here all day jacking our d---s looking at each other or get that crate off your truck so you can get on with your life?"

Suddenly, he saw the value of helping me with the crate.
