Well folks,
I finally have a new mouth to feed. I haven't gotten the time yet to do a range report on her, but hopefully I will be able to in the very near future. "She" is a Springfield Armory M1a "loaded" ---"CA"= muzzle brake" model with a black synthetic stock. I will of course be ordering a traditional wood stock in the very near future..but for now, this stock will be my duracoat project.
My only gripe is that the loaded with the flash supressors are a bit harder to get, so the california approved muzzle brake was easier to get. Has anyone had any experience with this brake, and if so, would you prefer it to the standard flash supressor? I've taked to Springfield Armory and swapping it out is no big deal for me at home, but I still might keep it if it is indeed functional.
Oh...here is the moment of truth. She was concieved in March of this year, and I finally cut the umbilical cord!
