Nice rig. I'm currently building a 6.8 spc. Let me know how you like the RGUNS stuff as I live next to there shop in carpentersville, illinois. I've been in there store, and they have a cool stock that hides an extra 20 round mag inside the stock. I thought that was a cool idea. Good for home defence or coyote stalking, keep us posted, brian.

Well for a range toy your good to go. Let us know how it shoots after 500 or so rounds. Enjoy!

I forgot to add.....BE CAREFUL.....Now that you built your first AR the bug should kick in soon. You will find that the AR building is a never-ending quest, or as the wife says, money pit. Good luck....Oh yeah...There is no known cure.

Got out to shoot it today. The jackass who sold me the stock sent me a buffer spring that was about 3" too long. My buddy was with me so we took one of the springs out of his AR and used it. Got the rifle loaded, went to pull the trigger, and nothing. Took the bolt out and replaced it with one of my buddies and it worked fine. I then realized I made one of my personals big no-no's. I went to shoot a brand new gun without cleaning it first. Went into the truck and tore down the bolt and gave it a quick clean. After that, all was good and it ran beatifully. We got back to the house and tore everything down and gave it the proper clean. We also cut the spring down to the right size and all seems good. I learned a lot today, thats for sure.
