So today, after doing research for a couple weeks, and after looking at the gun for a couple years, I finally got the H&K P2000 V2. I decided on that as a carry option rather than the P2000sk, due to my hand size, and the difficulty the sk may present when I have to draw the pistol.

I was wondering if anyone has any insight on the gun, and any ideas on what a good holster option is for it. I've been carrying a Glock 19 for a couple of years with a Bravo Concealment holster, and I love the holster, but it took forever to get to my door. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I also carry a P2000 in 357SIG (own 2 other LEMs besides).

The P2000 is my favorite HK and I also own a P30L V0, HK45T V3 (LEM) and a VP9.

I'd run it as it is for a while, then look at the V1 conversion, it's just a couple springs and is easy to do. Also the flat mag base plates really shorten the pistol up. so I'd look at getting at least one (Midway USA has them). The LEM takes a little getting used to, but it's my favorite defensive trigger. I treat it sort of like a DA/SA in that I'm on it as part of my presentation (step 4) and while pushing out into the target I'm taking up the slack. After that 1st shot I shoot from reset so it might as well be a SA at that point. Never having to remember to de-cock is cool and so is "thumb over the hammer" while re-holstering.

My P2K has been utterly reliable in both 357SIG and .40. Right now it's out at Lazy Wolf Guns having a reset reduction performed, which I also had done to my P30L (awesome trigger afterwards, shoter reset than my VP9). While it's there I'm having the slide, barrels, internals, a couple magazines and controls done in ROBAR NP3. Other mods I've made are adding Trijicon HD sights and a set of slim slide stops.

For a holster I'm using a simple Vedder IWB:

Congrats on the P2K!!

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I am going to take a look at the holster. I'll also check out the mags from midway. Thanks for the help, and great looking gun!

I bought a P-30 40 cal last month for $525 out the door.....phenomenal pistol. I've got the LEM trigger as well and really like it.

Great gun! A P2000 V2 LEM is my EDC as well. I carry mine in a Garrett Industries Silent Thunder IWB (I actually have 8 or 9 of those holsters, one for every sidearm I own that I ever carry).
