I'm exploring options for a nylon thumb-break duty holster (Bianchi's 7105 Cruiser holster) for my agency-issued HK P2000 in .40. My research indicates the HK USP Compact .40 is dimensionally identical to my issued sidearm except for its absent ambidextrous slide release.
I am wondering if the slide release differences between the two weapons would cause holster incompatibility issues, specifically in the mentioned thumb-break holster.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
