Finally "pulled the trigger" on a Beowulf AR...

So to speak. Ordered it tonight after wrestling for a bit with that or a .458 SOCOM.

Delivery in ~2 weeks.

Anything I should know?

Some stocks and some scopes can't handle the recoil. Go to www.50beowulf.com to check options that work and that have failed.

...oh, and don't shoot it with a hard metal or plastic buttplate and no muzzle brake. You should have a muzzle brake and/or a soft recoil pad. I have a pad with no muzzle brake. Some guys have torn skin shooting without any recoil softening pad or brake.

I ordered it with the ACE ARFX stock - we'll see how it works. I can also foresee possibly starting to load my own - we'll see about that, as well.
