That only happens when the user does not tighten the barrel enough. Like the MRP and the SCAR, the is a torque spec for the bolt that retains the barrel on the XCR. If you follow this spec, the barrel stays tight. There are people for whom this is just too hard and I seriously hope they call a tow truck when they get a flat tire for safety of everybody who shares the road with them.
Nice rifle, neat design, cool take down for maintance. But I couldnt justify that price for a stamped reciever and welds that crude.

No, they do not bring them in anymore, Molot or what's left of them, was given to Izhmash (the Saiga manufacturers) in a court case. IIRC the Saiga-M is about the closest you'll get to a VEPR now...
Looks great with the new furniture, nice find! I looked at one a few years back but I thought it was rather large for a .223. I already had a full size AR15/M16 and passed on it.
