After shooting 2 or more IDPA matches a month since February, I shot my first clean match (zero pts down and no penalties).

There were 29 shooters and I didn't win but I came in a close 2nd. I can live with that. :)

How long did it take you to shoot a clean match? I was starting to think it would never happen.

I know the feeling. I just shot a clean match on the 2nd. I was points down but no no-shoots and no misses. I s kinda cool. Have been trying for 2 years. I congratulate you on your clean shooting.

I went “clean” on my second IDPA match, which was what I was intending to do.

Unfortunately, I focused so hard on shooting clean, my times put me in the middle of the pack.

Never done it, most likely never will. I usually end up down maybe 5-10 points over 6 stages.

Lowest points down at our monthly matches shoots for free the following match.

Tyler and Chandler?

HighVelocity: Was this at the 31 West Range between Tyler and Chandler, Texas, yesterday? I was there shooting a little standing 200 practice and saw quite a pistol match going on. Sent a family of new pistol shooters over to try and meet someone to get in the program.

I was shooting a great match at the sunshine state games with no mikes or penalties. I was on the second to last stage, I was shooting weak-hand and my front sight fell off! Because of that I got 3 misses and instead of getting 1st in C class I got second... It would have been clean.
