Find of the week for me "Remington Rand"

Out pawn shopping today in San Antonio I found a nice Remington Rand, It is all original and probably 85-90% condition all proof marks and other markings correct it is a type I S/N:922250
Looks like early 1943 it is pretty sweet I'll have pics up shortly This is one for the very back of the safe.

I envy you. From what I have heard over the years, people regard the Remington Rand higher than the Colt military guns for durability and reliability.

50's NRA 1911a1

A uncle bought it for $17.50 and I've owned it for the last 35 plus years. I can't even guess how many rounds have been through it. Several thousand at least.
It too is a Rmmington Rand.
In this condition they are going for 16 to 18 hundred around here.
