I think Old Hat wants to load 12 ga., or at least did not specify gauge. 12 Bravo 20 sounds like he's a pretty experienced .410 reloader from his posts on it in other threads.
If I
were to start loading steel based hulls, it would definitely be Remington Gun Clubs. If you are in the US, Old Hat, you shouldn't have a problem finding those. I have a friend who loads them, has virtually an unlimited supply of them from some of the clubs he shoots at. They load to the same data as Remington STS and Nitro hulls, which he also loads for handicap and Annie Oakleys.
The main disadvantage to Eurotrash hulls and most Federals, except Gold Medals, is they have a 6 pt. crimp vs. an 8 pt. crimp. The 6 pt. crimps don't hold up as well as the 8 pt. in reloading; six reloads from one is stretching it; many that do reload them done one and done. Partly because they have more hulls to gather, with most serious reloaders scarfing up the AA and Remington hulls, and partly becuase crimps will develop pinholes at the fold much quicker than said AA and Remington hulls.
If you have access to lots of free Rio and and other Cheddite type hulls, there's nothing wrong with reloading them, but I'd do one and done myself if I did. I also recommend Downrange's Federal-type wads for them,
https://downrangemfg.com/index.php?option=com_zoo&view=category&Itemid=169 , they load easier, and the Winchester and Remington-type ones I use pattern better and leave very little residue. As mentioned before Cheddite primers; I can't help you there, I've never used them.
