Poll

O K, nice and slow, how th' heck do you "cut & paste )? Some of us are still in Computer Rehab.

98% for carry. now all we have to do is get our government to go along with it and change the rules. thats only like pushing over a skyscraper with a datsun!

Hey, OC!

Using some screecaps of my own browser, here's how to cut -- actually in this case -- copy and paste:

First go up to the original post and highlight the address, like shown in this photo.

attachment.php

Then, you either right click anywhere in the highlighted portion and select 'copy' OR after highlighting the text, you type ctrl+c on your keyboard. (While holding down your control (ctrl) key, press the 'c' key once and lift up)

Do not highlight any other portion of text, but the entire address, gibberish as it may seem, must be selected so the computer recognizes where you want to go. Think of it as a house address. You must have a complete address for the pizza delivery driver to find your house, right?

Okay, once you've done that, next go up to your browser address bar. Mine looks like this. I run Opera and open multiple tabs all the time -- your setup may look a bit differently, but the address bars should all be the same.

If you open a new tab or instance of a browser, the address bar is often blank. You may just want to use the same window as THR is right now, and that's fine. Just make sure that the address in the address bar is highlighted as shown in this pic.

Then you may either right click anywhere in the highlighted area and select 'paste' then hit the enter key, or you may use the keyboard shortcut of ctrl+v and then hit enter to take you to the address you pasted.

Hopefully that helps!

As to this particular poll, once I read that one could vote multiple times, no matter how well written the question(s) is(are), the poll is useless so I won't bother going there.

Thanks for taking our unscientific survey.
