Firearms-related personal goals?

What personal goals do you have that relate to firearms, things that you absolutely have to do before you die?

Mine are:

-Get a Holland and Holland double rifle
-Take an African safari or two
-Shoot at least a 95% at a range of 1000 yds with a .50 BMG rifle
-Get a .50 BMG rifle for above
-Shoot at least a 90% at a CMP match with a Garand
-Fire a 4-bore elephant gun
-Get an M-16 (full-auto) (legally) and a Ma Deuce (legally)
-Go to Knob Creek and spend at least $1,000 shooting various guns there

Not necessarily in that order, though...

Personal Firearms Goals:

Shoot well in IDPA enough to place in the top 10 overall - Did that this month
Shoot the state match and place withinn the top 10 in my class - We'll see what happens in march
Qualify as Expert withinn the next 3 years

So many goals, and so little time.

1. Achieve Master in IDPA. (I'm almost there....then move to another division and do it all over again.)
2. Run 100 straight in skeet. (I run 25's 4-5 times a month, ran 50 two or 3 times)
3. Pick up a 4 bbl skeet set (preferably Browning) and get good enough to run 25's with a .410)

I think the African safari should be on everyones list...it's looks like the ultimate adventure.

Get back into Bullseye next summer.
Enter at least a couple subgun matches. I didn't make any last year.
Keep shooting e-mail .22 benchrest matches and the matches here.
Try to get back into shooting High Power rifle matches.

I'm going to be busy, eh?

Try to get an HDR this year that works. And a BUG. That will run about $800 for an Ohio Rapid Fire FAL, plus Star BM....

1. Finish my current "purchase" list of firearms. (Need to recheck that, now that I think about it.)

2. Renew my range membership and USE IT.

3. Teach my 8-year-old son how to shoot. (WAY behind on that one.)

4. Trip to Alaska for a bear hunt resulting in a nice rug.

2. Buy Some "Nice" Guns. (Custom 1911, HK MK23, p220, M4, G36c, MSG-90, WA2000, Mini 14, Browning BAR, Barret .50, etc)
3. Get a CCW.
4. See the end to all of the following; AWB, Import Ban, Ban on sales of New Class III Being Sold to Civilians, NFA, etc
5. *Legaly* Design and Build My Own Gun.
6. Shoot them all
Not all at once, or in that order, but over time...

is to find a Rifle I Enjoy shooting. I have sold all I ever had because I did not really enjoy them.

Short term is to win my class at the S&W Winter Championship in Feb. Never done that but I am working hard.

Begin, then advance in IDPA. I'm hoping to begin next month.

Acquire a CMP Garand for myself and SonofAZLib, and shoot Hi-Power with them.

Begin reloading, so that the above might be affordable.

And, assuming I win the $170M PowerBall lottery tonight, I'll call in "Rich" at work, find a large property in a rural area, set up a large "Gun Room" to play with my toys, and live happily ever after. Hey, a guy can dream can't he??

Reload more (lab has been down for a while).

Shoot more shotgun (didn't practice as much last year).

IDPA (try to make it monthly.. I've only been hitting every other match)

Buy another rifle.

I wanna buy about 50 acres of land out in the boonies (well - not that far out in the boonies but far enough away that the city won't grow out to there for another 25 years or so). Then I want to build a combination pistol/rifle range in my backyard (at least 600 yard on the rifle) so that whenever I get the urge to shoot one of my guns all I have to do is walk out my back door, step off the porch, walk about 10' to the firing line and blast away!

I wanna teach my grandkids to shoot and shoot well - pistols, revolvers and rifles.

I want my gun collection to grow to a point where I need a room to store it and not just a closet.

AND last but certainly not least I want people in the US wake up and see the light and understand that the RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS ranks right up there with the freedom of speech and religion and that it is that RIGHT that foremost among all others protects them, their rights and their way of life.
