So today my wife and I went to just about every gun shop in town trying to find her a Ruger lc9 with no luck. After we hit the last shop we decided to run by Bass Pro since it was on our way home. No luck there either, but as I was looking around I saw a Sig 1911-22 and asked to see it just for kicks, and then I had to have it. Probably wont get to shoot it until next weekend. For now I'm just gonna have to hit up the auction sites to find my wife's gun, she's not to excited about me getting a new bow and a new gun in the same day. So ill report back after I shoot it. That should be a cool little pistol!

And try calling summit for the ruger, he seems to stock a lot of them.

I bought the very same gun a few months ago so get 1911 trigger time without the expense of throwing 45 down range. It's a good reliable auto loading rimfire. I feel the recoil spring could be a bit more stiff but other wise a solid Plinker. Accuracy isnt great but all in all its fun.

And the best thing about is it is cheap to shoot. Which means she'll get REAL good with it. Trust me on this.

A friend has a Chiappa 1911-22. She broke the barrel bushing and I was looking for a replacement. The exploded parts diagram for the Chiappa and the Sig are the same. It even references both manufacturers. Clearly that are the same oistol and a nice one at that.
