My first was a Colt Model 70 Lightweight Combat Commander. I carried it while working in the ghetto. I was a young buck back then and the Gun store owner was pushing .38 Super...but my father always was a .45ACP guy and that's what I got. Served me well for years. My daughters learned to shoot with it and 17 years later still love it. It has a small crack in the frame so I don't shoot it much...but will never get rid of it.

very nice, congrats. I'm thinking about getting a springfield 1911 Loaded in 9mm

Range report when you get a chance

Nice pistols Nola ( Glock included ), my first 1911 was a Springfield Longslide. They tend to be habit forming, currently have 6, and I still have the Springer.

I got my first and then my 2 nd am looking toward a 3rd.
I have others guns, but after a 45 shooting them is like geting a root canal. you do it cause you have to.

Nice sidearm!

My 1st was a Springfield GI .45, which I still have. Like the fella said, they tend to multiply. Now I have 3 Colt 1911's to keep it company.
