First Firearm You Ever Fired ?

Don't remember the first gun I ever fired but I remember killing my first deer at 10 with a Model 94 Winchester............still got that gun, still kills deer. BTW it was made in 1917.

My Dad's Marlin 80 when I was 11 back in 1959. Fifty years later, and I still have it.

Now that is how I take care of my guns as well.

That thing looks almost like it just came out of the box!

That's the way guns should be maintained.

First firearm I ever shot was a "gallery" .22 Short pump rifle at a State/County Fair. I think it was 10 shots for 25 cents and if you shot out all the red on the target -- you would win a Quipi Doll !!!

First firearm I ever shot is also the first shotgun I ever and first gun I ever bought, a remington 870 20GA, still got it and I'm never getting rid of it. First revolver: NAA Blackwidow. First semi-auto: Berreta 92. First center fire rifle: mini-14. First rimfire rifle: ruger 10/22.

My dad's Browning 12 ga. shotgun. Decapitated a bunny rabbit. Age 10. I'm 63 and naturally remember it like it was yesterday.

My Dad's AR15 A1, I think. I am trying to remember if that came before/after summer camp where we would shoot some bolt action .22s. I think it was the AR though. He still has the gun in that same config.

I have to make a decision regarding that gun. It has ALOT of sentimental value for me, but when he passes away (hopefully not anytime soon), I am required to surrender it per California's AWB. That really ticks me off.

12 Gauge sxs sawed off, 5 or 6 years old. Shown how to hold and shoot, not too bad. 4 years later 20 gague. First was my Uncles, second was mine.

A 410 at about 6 years old. It scared the hell out of me and I put it on the ground and did not want to shoot it anymore. My aunt explained to me that is was very important that I did not become "gun shy" and she convinced me to shoot it again, then again so on and so fourth. 26 years later I have a safe full of guns and ccw daily.

Old single-shot .22 Winchester 25 that has been in the family for generations -- it survived a light fire at some point and my great-grandfater (a woodworker by trade) created a beautiful hand-made stock for it. It's the first gun I shot, the first gun I owned, and one of the last I would ever part with... until I can pass it on to my own son.

Hello friends and neighbors // Scoped, Bolt action, 30.06 ,no idea of maker 9 or 10 years old.
Boy Scout winter cabin, had me sit on sawhorse(thought I'd flip over)
I still remember them holding tape measure "exactly" 1/2 inch from my shoulder. Talk about a kick.
I missed milk jug. Then someone showed me the right way and I hit it.
Wish I could remember who, all I could think about was my sore shoulder getting sorer.
