When I got engaged my now-wife got me a Springfield Custom Carry. It was a very touching gesture on her part as she had been a bit anti earlier in our relationship.

No never. I put some on the christmas list and my parents scoffed in a "when hell freezes over" sort of way.

Girlfriend was more polite when she told me to my face, "don't count on it."

I received several guns that people gave me for no other reason but they didn't want them anymore.

I did get an A2 upper I wanted for a retirement present.

my savage 220 16 gauge was handed down to me on x-mas years ago. we are giving both kids bb guns got xmas this year if I had not put $2000 in repares in my truck this year my wife would be getting the CC gun she has been wanting

My Grandfather gave me a old pump .22 when I was a kid, it broke down into two pieces and had a little case it fit into.
A few years later my parents got me a pellet rifle for x mas :) memories
Soon after we moved to AZ my uncle gave me a Remington 700 BDL 30-06, that was the last for a while :(
Last year my wife got me a Beretta NEOs for x mas, the start of a good trend :)
For my 30th Bday my family all pitched in and got me a brand new Ruger Blackhawk convertible
Think Im gettin a Henry this year

A Remington 1100 for my 14th birthday, 38 years ago. Still have it and always will.

Several. All very fond memories. From my first .22 up to today, a firearm as a gift is sure to make me smile.

Yes I've received a few.

My best friend's wife gave him a Rem 1100 that I picked out for a wedding gift. How cool is that?

Oops, it went twice.

I received my first 3 firearms as tools to make it possible for me to hunt; but I suppose you could call them "gifts".
I was 7, 9 and 12 and received a Remington .22 (shorts only) auto-loader, an 1187 Remington shotgun and a sporterized Mauser for deer hunting.
The Mauser and the 1187 have long since left my ownership (they were purchased used for me) but the .22 Rem has been passed down to my son some 20 years ago after having been used by my dad (original owner) for 25 years and by me for 25 more years.
Many of my relatives worked for Federal cartridge right here in Anoka, MN so we all got to shoot thousands of rounds every year. There's no way to even estimate the number of rounds that the .22 Rem. (Browning patent) went thru. We got the .22 shorts in bulk boxes of 300 rds of "seconds" and we all got ammo for every Christmas and b-day. Some presents were so heavy that I could hardly lift them.:neener: I once tried to remember how many boxes that we got as presents plus those that my dad bought from shirt-tail relatives who didn't need any for themselves.

***** Maybe 6-10 boxes for each of the three of us per occasion for 11m - 18m per year for 10-15 years. That multiplies to lots! Maybe 100m to almost 1/4 million rds. ***** :D

Oh yeah,

10/22 when I turned..????... 12? can't remember.
Remington 700 SPS .30-06 on my 18th (I signed the papers but my pops paid for it. Unfortunately this one might be going up for sale.)
Beretta Model 70 "New Puma" .32 ACP 19th BDay gift, it was my late grandfathers.
Lets see from my maternal grandpa I pretty much received everything he had which was a lot of revolvers/leverguns/2 bolt actions, but I will spread these among the family in the future.

I don't have the room nor do I want to horde family heirlooms so I will give my cousin a few since he shows an interest in guns but nothing like mine.

**For Christmas maybe a Marlin 39a or Swiss K31, shoot I need more room for these tools!
