First full day of CC. & How do you secure your pistols when left in your vehicle?

In a pinch, use a brief case. It's not great, but better than nothing. I prefer to never keep a gun in the car.

Can think of few things more likely to be stolen in a smash and grab, or any vehicle burglary, than a brief case.

DO NOT leave gun in briefcase. Don't recommend you leave the brief case, for that matter.

I use a Lock Box secured with a wire. It hides under the seat and is hard to see, since the wire can be covered up by the floor mat. If it is spotted during a smash and grab, it would take bolt cutters to steal it.

As a side note, most of the "no guns allowed" signs show a silhouette of a Beretta 92.....

Securing gun in car

I have a gun bag,made by Beretta. Cost was 20.00 I'll try and explain- It has SS wire mesh covered in canvas with a 3/16 cable that closes the opening and goes around the seat frame and padlocked. Its not thief-proof, but it will deter most!! About the only time I use it is when I go to work(can not take in bldg). I CC everywhere else, I do not look for no gun signs (ignore), Excepting schools, and gov't bldgs. Chasw

I can't CC yet, but I feel that when I do I will think the same way you do. Seems like when you strap on that handgun that you also strap on responsibility.
