USP for the win. I have a early model usp 40 thats probably had thousands of rounds through it and I've only ever had one issue....I need more ammo :D

No, really only issue was one craptastic box of blazer aluminum cased crap that had some stovepipe. I havn't had any problems with handloads or remaned random ammo or WWB.

I'm the third (i think) owner and will prolly be the last owner because I love it. The only thing I hate about HK is the snooty factory support for civilians and the prices for NIB guns.

Good luck on your purchase soon! (oh, and grab some feberal xm40 for your SD loads! cool stuff!)

I like my USP 40 but if you want to save some money and still get a reliable, accurate and well-made pistol, you might want to consider a used S&W Model 4006 in good condition. They are a mite heavy though for all day concealed carry.
