Lately I've been looking at lever guns to add something different to my collection. I already had a bunch of .44 Mag ammo so I settled for a Rossi R92 carbine due to a lot of favorable reviews, availability and price. Haven't taken it out to shoot yet (just picked it up yesterday), but when I first opened the box I was a little taken aback by the size! It had a 16" barrel as ordered but the stock and lever loop are so small it looks like a "Youth Gun". Feels like one too. Now I'm not real tall (6' 1") but when shouldered the hammer looks like it's almost close enough to smack me in the nose on recoil. Any R92 carbine owners out there that would like to comment? Thanks in advance.
