I've shot a Springer and a Kimber...I like the Kimber.

I have a S & W 1911 5" Bbl. Len. Stainless Steel
frame and slide, fixed sights. My fav. handgun and the
one I shoot the best. I like the other features such as
skeltonized cmdr style hammer, beavertail grip safety
and the long trigger with three holes in it and the external
extractor. I got it for $ 720
I'm having the MSH changed to a flat w/serrations in
stainless steel and changing to grips I got from Guy Hogue.
I'll probably get another in blued carbon steel and I'm
not stuck on S & W - the Colt 1991 is appealing.
