Yes, it can be boring when you don't see any game at all
I've never been bored in the woods. Always something to look at.

If you get bored, and I mean really bored, carefully walk around.... take one or two steps silently, stop, look around for a few minutes, and repeat the process. Keep your eyes pealed for anything that looks out of place or any movement what so ever. Walk up wind (or have the wind in your face) silently and you might be surpised what you come silently up on. Does tend to be pretty dumb at times.

You could also read a book. Seriously. Get 100 pages into a book and stop paying attention and I guarantee a big 'ol 16 point buck will come walking right up and lick you in the face. :D

You have to get out in the woods more! It's important. There is so much to learn and be aware of and it is not just learning about deer. Don't take young children with you hunting... they have too short of attention spans and make too much noise. They stink too... I just had to say that! :D

I take along a paper back book with me when its fairly warm. It helps you resist the urge to move around and the book keeps you pretty stationary. Turn your pages silently though! :)
