About ten years ago my wife found a tumber at a church yard sale. $10.00. She knew what it was and brought it home. She's a keeper.

It's the one in the middle.

Bought my first long gun at a garage sale. It was a Mosin Nagant SA marked M91 Westinghouse w/bayonet for $50. Sounds like some of you have some great luck at sales.

A few good deals but one was amazing. Lets see if I can remember it all. I paid $90 cash for:
1 wire fishing basket
2 bags unopened 7mm-08 brass which I returned to Sportsman's warehouse for like $45 store credit... He gave me the tip on that.
Almost 2 lbs of unique
1 pound Bullseye
1/2 pound IMR 4895
700 Large Mag rifle primers
~700 shotgun primers
~600 small pistol primers
1000 small rifle primers
~500 large pistol primers
~500 .358" 158gr LSWC
~200 .452" 200gr LSWC
2 bags new winchester 357 brass, 100 per bag
A LOT of various pistol and rifle brass including more 357, 38 special, 9mm, 7mm Mag, 22-250, 45 acp proly others
1 box of .223 45 gr Hornady V-max (quantity 100)
A couple boxes 7mm bullets, can't remember I sold it
40 38/357 shot caps for reloading
Like 8 plastic cartridge cases for pistol and rifle
Also he let me keep the tote and the milk crate he had the stuff in:D

There was probably more stuff, It's been a few years. I know I gave like $90 worth of stuff to my dad, got $45 at Sportsman's, sold what me or my dad couldn't use for like $90, and kept the rest. It was ridiculous. I was on cloud 9 for weeks. I hope it happens again!!!

Not a yard sale but bought a Dillon 550 with 5 tool heads, caliber conversions for 45, 9mm, 38, and 2 powder hoppers for $175.

A M1 carbine made by inland division of general motors. It had 2 original magazines, cleaning kit, and sling. It had been carried by her father in several battles in WW2. I was amazed that this woman would get rid of something that obviously meant a lot to her late father. She got mad at me when I started telling her that it would mean something to her sons one day. Her words " all you gun nuts are the same" Give me $35 dollars for the piece of junk and get off my property or just get off my property. I had to put that pair of jeans to the work around the house clothing pile as I ripped my back pocket getting the money out.

My best ever was a free Japanese sword, made in the 1800's. Stright from the man that captured it. The toolman.

2 years ago I bought 15K of 158 grain LSWC for 38s for $150. Each box of 500 was marked at $5. I bought all 30 on the spot. Was a good buy since Obama got elected a few months latter. I was able to shoot through the worst of the hoaring without being forced to buy either bullets or primers. I remembered the Clinton era hoarding shortages.
