I can't even imagine having access to 2,000 acres of land for shooting, hunting, jeeping, camping, fishing and farting around. If I were you, that friend would be getting sick of seeing me! I'd be begging for a shady spot to set up a semi-permanent camper trailer.

One other thing, it doesn't sound like the game there is accustomed to coming to corn. Pigs and deer who are accustomed to baiting will come to the sound of a feeder going off. So if you are just driving around throwing corn out of the bag randomly on the roads, it probably won't work very well.

Again, the golden rule in any hunting is being silent and making the least amt of audible noise . You are there to ambush a game , and like soldiers set up to kill the enemy .

There are times when hogs just don't bother coming to bait. A few years back a buddy and I had bait out for the entire winter and they never came in. However he was trapping them like crazy not too far away on a golf course. It was a really dry winter and the golf course had more water then the private land we were being alowed to hunt. I suspect that had a lot to do with it.
