I guess I'm going to build a Wet Tumbler. Not all Stainless Steel is Stainless! If the pins are Low Quality (possibly from a place far away) I'd expect them to possibly rust. I'll post my Wet Tumbler once I get it built.

I'm new to wet tumbling, two batches so far.

I've dried my pins in a small cake pan in my toaster oven that I use for baking powder coat.

I'll probably to to prep ALL my brass for wet tumbling, and run several loads through without drying my pins in between, then clean/dry everything and put it away for awhile.

I air dry mine after use and store in an old plastic coffee container with a lid. No problems so far.

    Regards,

I leave 'em in the bottom of my spinner, first draining out most of the fouled water into a bucket. Then let the pins dry.
Some get stuck to the side. I use an empty case to jiggle them loose when I put them back in the tumbler for the next round. No rust. No problem. No work.

My pins go from the tumbler to the separator bucket and back. I have never made any effort to dry them. Sometimes they sit in a bucket of water for several weeks.
