Fit 4 Duty Finishes

Has anyone heard about the finish from these guys.

I don't know about a finish that says you never have to lube your gun again.
Read about it in a gun magazine and you can clean your bore with a dry patch alone, no solvent or cleaner.

I'm suspicious

Never heard of them - and with the widespread publicity about experts in the field such as Robar, AP&W, Tripp, etc., I wonder why their name hasn't been mentioned in the same breath as such well-known names?

The A/O Sights Company recommends Fit 4 Duty for sight installations. I have heard good things about their work.

Looks to me like they just apply coatings created by other, well known, companies like KG.

They also rebuild 870s into combat shotguns, rather like Scattergun Tech's Remington Steal thing.


Their work is supposed to be pretty good, Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement had them do up a shotgun and it looked just fine (had Bear Coat on it I think).
