There's some aesthetics to the adjustable stocks that some can find objectionable.Just because it's adjustable doesn't mean you have to adjust it. What don't I understand? Aesthetics? Weight?
Nice.I got it fixed ... tried different spacer lengths and ended up using two of the three
I agree, only stock I use on my ARs. Comfortable, but the best part is its solid.I use the ACE skeleton stock.
It's light and minimalist. Without the butt pad I think it's the same length as an A1 stock (my preference)
I'll see if I can find a pic
ETA pic. It's a pic from 2016 but the rifle is configured almost exactly the same way
Another ETA
I think it's this

Rigidity, adjustables I have tried wiggle and flex.Somebody help me out here....why switch the stock? Why not leave the current stock in place, at whatever custom length you want, and then NOT MOVE IT. Just because it's adjustable doesn't mean you have to adjust it. What don't I understand? Aesthetics? Weight?
I definitely concur as when shooting for groups, even pinned adjustable stock has play/wiggle that add input to group size - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/9mm-carbine-reloading.919747/#post-12642113Rigidity, adjustables I have tried wiggle and flex.Somebody help me out here....why switch the stock? Magpul UBR. Done. It’s the only tool-less telescoping stock which is solid enough for precision work, but retains that adjustability to suit multiple shooters in multiple positions.
There are 3 fixed stocks I’m willing to use today - Luth-AR, Magpul PRS, and XLR. Any other application where I’m not using one of these, then I’m using a UBR.
…it doesn't appear to hurt group size…
Forget the stock, I want to know what barrel you’ve got! That’s impressive out of a compact setup like that!
