Hello guys.
First off, I have heard about the reputation for RG (real garbage) revolvers. Luckily, this is a favor for a friend, and I can't make this gun any worse then what I started with.
My fiend brought me some gun he bought for $25 and asked me if I would fix it for him. It's an RG model 66 in .22LR.
This gun had it's handle completely broken off, a crack at the top of the frame and no mainspring or mainspring guide rod to start with.
I advised him that I can get it together, but it would never be a very strong gun and should not be used for anything but display and maybe a little plinking.
Anyway, I have the gun back together and holding up but I am having issues with building a mainspring guide rod for it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
