Flash Hider and beretta CX4

Looking for advice regarding flash hider/muzzle brake for my Beretta CX4 carbine (9mm).
Pro's, Con's and any specific makers which might have one for a 9mm barrel.

Nevermind what I just said. Looks like it's completely legal.

My Colt 6450 9mm has a flash hider. Should be easy enough to have a smith thread the barrel for you and stick one on.
