RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -- (06/12/08)--Four suspects raided a local gun shop early Thursday morning. Now investigators need your help in tracking them down.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are joining forces with the Genesee Township Police Department in the hopes of cracking the case.

It happened just after 3 a.m. at the Bullocks Guns 'N More store on Richfield Road. It's a buy-sell-and-trade firearms store between Genesee and Belsay roads just east of the city of Flint.

ATF investigators released surveillance video showing the breaking and entering, all caught on tape.

Four men wearing hoods and gloves entered through the back of the store. The suspects smashed through several gun cases, getting away with more than 50 firearms.

Most of them were handguns, but several long guns were also stolen. Investigators worry the weapons will get into the wrong hands if not found quickly.

"Guns that are stolen from gun dealers like this quickly become crime guns used in violent crimes," said ATF Special Agent George Krappmann.

"We are encouraging the public to come forward with any information they may have.

"These guns could be used to hurt someone you love, whether it be yourself, a family member, a friend or even a police officer."

If you have any information on this gun theft, call the ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS.

There is a $5,000 reward being offered.

They are already in the wrong hands. I doubt the crooks filled out a 4473 on each gun.

So we shouldn't care if they are only used to murder strangers?
