The Lyman Great Plains Hunter has a 1 in 32" twist barrel. You can also get an extra barrel with a 1 in 60" or 66" twist for round balls.

    Thanks Stevelyn

I checked out the rifle you mentioned, but the 32" barrel is a bit too long for me.

I am looking for something shorter and less tradtional.

The Dixie Gun Works Jaeger is a 1 in 20 something twist.

Then again, Bobby Hoyt of Pennsylvania (Freischutz Gun Shop) can always rebarrel any gun to any twist you want.

You know that is funny, I would not even think twice of rebarreling one of my bolt actions, but never considered it for a flintlock.

Thanks to all who have helped me with this.

    God Bless
