Need pistol safety/conceal carry class to satisfy state requirement for CCW permit, check this place out! Florida's ccw permit is accepted in 38 States. Wow. You do not have to be a resident of Florida to apply for a ccw permit in Florida. If your state is too restrictive, and they accept Florida's permit, then apply for one in Florida.

You didnt mention the name of the place, and I though it was only good for 29 states for non residents?

Be careful! Some of those states are only reciprocal to the Florida permit if you're a Florida resident visiting their state. Florida honors Indiana permit holders and vise versa. But once I became a Florida resident, my Indiana permit was invalid. Get the right info from the right people.

Only those states marked with a "4" don't honor the Florida CCW permit if you're a non-resident.

Any NRA basics course will satisfy Fl requirements.
As will any documented prior LE training or a DOD honorable discharge paperwork.
Most other tactical courses will too (gunsite, blackwater, etc.) if you can provide a copy of a graduation certificate, but it would be good to call and ask if they will accept a certificate from "place x".
