My father and I have been working on making/finishing a custom stock. since this is for a target style gun that will be used primarily on bags, and i still want the ability to put a sling on it. I want to have a set of flush mount style sling swivel bases (the kind that the base is flush and the swivel clips in).

i've found the Millett/Pachmayr style, which connect by pushing in and turning 90 degrees. but a few years ago i came across a type that used a steel cup into which the swivel clips. the swivels were similar to the one in the following picture.

but midway sells the above style as a part for a command arms AR buttstocks, not as a combo set with the in-stock receptacle cups.

and i can't rememeberwho made the ones i;ve seen before that were in a target rifle stock.

anyone have any ideas?

thanks in advance.

thanks, found em. :)

and then promptly realized that i'd forgotten one factor in my plans. ie eventually i'll wanna put a bipod on it.

so the flush mount idea is moot now, i have to have at least one protruding stud to put the harris bipod on.

oh well. it was a cool thougth for awhile.
