I'm not familiar with the system, but did you assemble it correctly? It might be a gas issue.

I cleaned the rifle after the first time I fired it including breaking it down and cleaning the guide rod and gas system.

How far did you go in taking it apart and "cleaning" the gas system??

There is a silver screw on the right side of the gas block. This screw is factory set, and determines the amount of gas that is being bled to the system.

If you screwed with it, your were not shrewd.

Sounds like a gas system problem to me. Get it back apart, make sure everything is there, pointed the right direction, and properly loosened or tightened as needed.

Not familiar with that system design in particular, but i've dealt with a few rifles that had parts that could be installed backwards or with small parts easily omitted or incorrectly indexed, would disrupt function that way.

Does the bolt cycle at all? Or just remain fully in-battery when fired?
