I am going to buy my first really nice handgun next week, I was set on a glock 19 until my buddy told me about the FNP-9. I'm starting to like it, the more stuff I read the better it looks. Only thing is that everyone I know has never handled it or shot it... So I need a little help with my decision. Glock 19 or FNP-9?

About 3 weeks ago, I purchased a FNP-9 which I had been eyeballing for months. I took it to the range and put 100 rounds through it. I have never shot a handgun so accurately in my life. I completely obliterated the black center in my first 20 rounds. I went home and put my G-19 up for sale. I sold the G-19 and purchased an FNP-357 to keep the 9 company. These are well made, straight shooting handguns. IMHO, well worth the premium price that they demand. I will have more Glocks in the future, I'm sure but for now FN Herstal is my mfg. :D

How is the trigger pull on the FNP9 ,the sa pull is what is most important to me . How does it compare to your other pistols ? A BIG thanks for your feed back !

I have one, i love it. Its the only pistol i havnt sold or gotten rid of. I have a couple thousand rounds thru mine with out one malf of any sort, and its accurate as heck too.

I couldnt see myself ever parting with it...

Hello, 3leggeddog. While statistically invalid since it involves only one gun, I measured both the DA and SA trigger-pulls on my FNP9:

DA: 10-lbs

SA: 4-lbs

Both trigger-pulls were measured five times and both hit the same numbers each time.

Best.
