I'd like to get a gunbelt, but frankly I'm a bit frugal, and $80 or so for a belt seems a bit spendy. I'm sure that the belts have a big advantage when supporting most holsters, but I wonder how much benefit I would get with a belt when carrying in my Fobus paddle type holster?
With the paddle holster, the gun is supported mostly it seems by the paddle portion riding against your hip, the belt simply holds it more or less loosely in place, the portion of the holster that the belt passes thru is rather oversized. It's difficult for me to imagine what benefit a stiffer gun belt would offer me, with this particular style holster.....
