? for 9mm in indoor ranges? when i go to an indoor range the only problem i have is that at every single time i go to the range i end up with a couple of casing in my shirt.

does that happen to you guys a lot?

now if it does happen what do you do?

when i am shooting and i get one in the shirt i put my gun on safety and put it to rest and then i start trying to get the hot casing out of my shirt as quickly as possible.

the reason i don't ask .40 or .45 is because the casing goes far back when shooting. and revolvers well lets just say they don't have this problem and if they did:eek: i feel sorry for you.

I think it depends more on the gun than the cartridge, as far as where it throws the brass.
I don't have a real problem with the where the brass goes with any of my 9mm pistols, but occasionally one does bounce off the lane divider and lands somewhere I don't want it to be.
I avoid wearing loose collars at the range for a reason.

most of the time i have a tight t-shirt but today when from school to home to pick up gun then range. i will put a turtle neck in the car for such occasions(spelling).

I like being burned by brass. It's a pinch me I'm dreaming sort of thing most of the time.

Thats the only way to get the scars you show the other guys. Really fun when the softer sex gets involved :D :D . I'll show you mine if.....

I've got a really nice scar on the inside of my left forearm from a 45ACP case and a couple in the bend of my arms where 22LR has nicely sat long enought o do a nice burn. Throw in a nice 1911 hammer-bite scar on my right hand, and I'm starting to have stories to tell. :D As for avoiding this from happening, I never have a problem with hot brass down my shirt when wearing a T-shirt........I did once have my safety glasses slide down on my nose a little bit, only to have a case come through the top of them.....and fortunately bouncing out the bottem corner without any contact time long enough to result in injury.

Its battle scars , learn to love em
Hot brass will get ya sooner or later

get some long sleeve t-shirts. the collars should fit tight enough that brass won't be able to find its way down there. its going to happen if you're going to shoot. hot brass from your gun, your neighbor's gun, chunks of lead flying back at you, and my all time favorite, standing next to and behind your buddy who's shooting from a bench, calling shots for him while he's trying to sight in a new AR that happens to spit its brass directly into your ummmmmmm, y'know. man that hurt. lesson learned; stand on the left side.

In my experience, depends on gun and proximity to stall baffles. When shooting the Makarov, I get dinged all to heck. Shooting the Hi-Power I'm usually fine.
