I just took delivery of a STAG complete lower from www.lanworldinc.com. I am very impressed by Chris's no-hassle service and his willingness to support CA gun ownership, especially the "controversial guns" - Off List Lower AR15s and Off List Saiga rifles.
The STAG is an exact mil-spec lower with all parts already installed including trigger group and buffer assembly. Price was $245.00 and INCLUDED & INSTALLED FREE the Monster Man Grip to make the gun California Legal. I opted not to use the bullet button or prince 50 since the legality of both is becoming rather unclear and I'd rather stay as clearly legal as possible. I also much prefer being able to detach the magazine as opposed to keeping it locked. This is not to say that the Prince 50 or BB is an unwise choice. I am aware that many people include LEOs are using them and I have yet to hear of someone convicted of an AW violation while using either. Indeed, the recent San Jose case much popularized the Forums seems to suggest that the Prince50 is quite legal.
In any case, Chris handled the transaction VERY professionally, and did not charge extra for Credit Card use or my 9 phone calls to him.
If you live in CA and are worried about an impending AW Ban you would do well to get a RAA (must be RAA or EAA) Saiga and a MMG STAG. Both are very high quailty firearms that are CERTAIN to be on any future ban list and can quickly be converted to "evil configuration should the laws change one day to allow this (or you move). One should also get a few Saiga magazines as they are proprietary and may be banned in the next round of legislation as well.
RAA Saiga 7.62x39: $265
STAG OLL w/ MMG: $245
