Just got these, trying them out. Not sure if I'm going to keep them in the current configuration/s or not. Particularly the top rails. My kids had fun playing "legos" with them, though. :D

Nice pics. The aimpoint kind of looks out of place but that's just my opinion. Why is your weapon over the stove? Are you waiting for a round to cook off? Sorry. Couldn't help it.

LOL. :D

Ultradoc, what would you have gone with? ACOG? Or did you mean the aimpoint is _mounted_ in the wrong place?

I've found top rail covers near the gas block keep your thumb cool if you use a forward grip. It can get a little warm up there.

Yeah I figured I'd need something. I got a couple different types to try. I think I'll probably end up with the smooth low profile TD SCAR type or the simple rubberized ladder type from surefire.

SO FREAKING AWESOME.... The stove and counter top that is...

JUST KIDDING! Amazing gun, you should feel proud to own it.

Wolf range... it is good stuff indeed. When we redid the kitchen I trashed the former electric craptastic and sprung for the good stuff. :D

We put in a giant vent hood in also... I could char-grill the hair off a Javelina and not stink up the house.

Looks good. I'm trying to decide what stuff to put on the forward rails on mine. Leaning towards the AFG2 as well...
I've found the AFG2 works really nicely if you position it forward off the bottom rail, so that it comes even with the end of the gas block. Gives you a little more room to extend your arm out. Just need to be careful not to touch the gas block with your thumb, but that hasn't been a problem for me.
