I carry my Kimber Compact in a WIld Bill Speed Scabbard.

Not a 1911 but my Beretta 92G was at the 1630-1700 position and found it was the only place that hid away well and didn't run into my belt loops.

Strong side, behind hip about 4:00 in either a Milt Sparks Roadrunner or Summer Special.

And I don't have any problems with it at all. Guess I'm used to a 1911.

After packing ye old slabsides for so long, I think my right cheek has an imprint of a 1911 on it. Even sliding a Government there seems strangely comfortable......
But I like the short officer's grip for less 'printing' challenges, though honestly it has never been an issue. And If life ever gets really interesting, really fast...them eight big rocks may come in handy...not to mentio the extra mags!!
Good advice PCRCCW might play with it myself......gonna need a new holster soon cause I will be treating myself to a 4inch barrel, Officer's sized pistol soon(Kimber Compact, Colt CCO) to celebrate the end of my two years of chasing crackheads.....to interact with NORMAL people again!!

I noticed that with my Watch Six, I had to move it a tad more forward because of the cant,than with my VM2 for my P7M8. I would guess that my Kimber/W6 rides about 3:00 maybe 3:15ish
