For years Ive been looking for one of these. Remington Mohawk 600 In 6mm. My favorite caliber and an awesome rifle. Finally found one . Now a trip tommorow for some ammo ( always liked 75gr HPs ) and give it a workout.

Interesting, can't say I've heard of this 6mm rifle before. You talking about a .243?

if its the same one im remembering its also, but less commonly called the 244 remington.

    its a fast stepper.

like to the tune of 3800fps with 60g bullets, and can be loaded up to about 3600fps with 75g fmjbt's.

its truly a varminter from hell.

right up there with 240 weatherby mag.

Yes it is Remington 6mm. same as 244 remington, Remmie just changed the twist rate to 1-9 instead of the 244s which were 1-12 and renamed it 6mm. Slightly more case capacity than a 243 and sharper shoulder angle.
