I have some of the “voodoo” in the form of Kasenit, using it for surface hardening but I was long past that project by the time I started using it and I think it has been off the market for more than a decade now.

You can still purchase it in the US and you could order it from a chemical supplier if you needed. Just ask for yellow prussiate of soda or sodium ferrocyanide salt (although pure charcoal or graphite should give a deeper surface hardness).
