I used the sanding drum on a dremel to remove the wording, then sandpaper and Scotchbite pads to even out the finish over the entire gun. Then finished with Flitz on a cotton rag to bring up a gleam.

Deleting the safety paragraph isn't hard, but it voids having any free work done by the factory service department.
How hard is it to replace a barrel on a Ruger? If it isn't too difficult, couldn't someone who hates the paragraph get rid of the paragraph and shop around for a relatively inexpensive spare barrel to leave the paragraph on it, then replace the barrel should they need to send the gun in for work?

I know, that is a bit much for an unlikely event. Either sand off the paragraph and don't worry about it, then should there be a problem pay a little to have it fixed,or if you are worried about it don't touch the paragraph.
