Forgot the lube

Ok so I got home an realized I forgot more spray lube. I really don't want to run all the way back to town just for that, anything around the house that will work as good

vaseline will do a fine job just takes a bit of trouble to apply. I'm assumeing you meant gun lube. a drop of motor oil will work though

Acutually I meant case lube, sorry should have put that in

Mink oil,like you put on your boots works ok.Motor oil and STP work,but are messy. Lightman

I have heard Pam or equivalent off brand as a spray - have not tried it personally.

KY Jelly won't foul your primers like petroleum can.

I have used a couple drops of vegetable oil with a tablespoon of rubbing alchohol in a ziplock back. Add brass and shake it around real good to get everything covered. Dump out the brass and let it "dry" for about 20 mins then size.

When finished sizing I take the brass and wash it in a water/laundry soap solution, then rinse with hot water. Lay the brass out on a towel when done to let it dry.

I have used shoe wax a few time when in a pinch just lightly run your fingers over the way and roll the cases between your fingers, a little goes a LONG way.

I use motor oil. Works great and all you have to do it wipe it off with a rag or tumble it off.
