Fort Smith primers?

I saw these on the Fedarm website. Never heard of this primer brand. Any good or bad experience with them?

I did a little research into these out of curiosity. Anything I could find all point to that they are Berdan primers. My take away was the anvil is different to accommodate for the multiple flash holes in a Berdan case. Don't know if you can use them in a boxer case. I'm sure someone with alot more experience than I will chime in soon. Good luck getting some info.

Found a link to the JSC «Murom Apparatus Producing plant», the largest manufacturer of primers for ammunition to the service, sports and hunting weapons. Murom are a Russian company. http://www.mpzflame.ru/production/primers/

The company logo has an "M" which matches the one on the Ft. Smith primers box. I'm not saying they aren't good, I'm just pointing out this is a foreign brand.

The shipping and hazmat came out to about $35. I didn’t complete the order because the price was about the same as other web dealers for the usual brands.

Thread resurrection, I know, but I found this thread researching Fort Smith Primers as they are all over Gunbroker like a rash.

A 2020 thread on Arfcom says, "They are the same Manufacturer as Wolf and Tula Ammo brand."

Anyway, I'm not going to buy any from them, but I'd never heard of them before.

I love imported primers. They have usually worked for me, and the lower prices force the domestic companies to be a little more competitive with their pricing.

Just checked their website, and it looks like prices are a "bit" high. $1600 for small or large pistol primers makes me take a pass.

I saw them on Gunbroker. 5,000 large pistol primers, no reserve, 3 hours/15 min remaining, and the current high bid is $410. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/896405886

The buy it now price, however, is $1,999. But like I said, no reserve.

I bought quite a few when they were selling for $200ish per case. I've slowly been using them but they work fine, no complaints on my end. I'm glad I purchased them when I did.
