Fulton Armory is nice, but not worth the price - and for that matter, if you are going to throw that much cash at an M14 you might as well go with an LRB.
If you can find a Norinco M14 and you don't jump at it, let me know and I will. Norinco's are pretty good rifles and can be had for a very good price (especially if you live in Canada). They are known to have occasional problems with headspace, but that is a problem that can be fixed very easily.
Also, buying a Norinco is hardly giving Communist China money, first off, these rifles have been in the country for 12+ years and the money is going to another American who previously owned the rifle - Nornico's were banned from importation years ago.
Also, if you are that worried about giving money to chinese interests, you should start whittling sticks and gathering stones to start fires as probably 85% of the goods in your house were either made in China or have Chinese made goods in them.
