sorry for the late reaction, but at the time this topic was new I was too busy to respond
6 months ago I bought a brand new Glock 17 3rd generation with even the whole new locking block pin above the trigger guard.
since I'm from Belgium, we don't have that ridiculous "federal ban on high capacity magazines", so 17-round mags are standard. they go at $15 to $20 new.
my Glock came with 2 of those mags, and altough guns in Belgium are generally overprized, mine came for $565.
so you could say that $485 for a used 2nd generation is a real ripp-of
like pico suggested: offer the guy $350, and if he refuses, than the heck with him
there are enough gun shops and people offering the same guns at 2/3's of the price!
be sure to check out
www.gunsamerica.com for some current prices on the Glock.
also the Glock 3rd gen looks way better than the 2nd gen, and you have a better grip and a rail (which you will probably never use, bit it still looks cool
).
