Found some powder

A friend called yesterday and said a shop in a nearby town had a bunch of the currently hard to get powders, 231, Bullseye and Unique, huh? I didn't really need any powder but told some friends I'd look in my travels. Fast forward to today. I had business in said town and thought it wouldn't hurt to look. There was a bunch of Unique at $21.99 lb. The clerk said they DID have 231 and Bullseye the day before and it was selling as fast as they could put it out. I guess some powders are coming back to an extent.

1950 miles NW of Alabama, eastern Washington state, just south of British Columbia and within walking distance of Idaho. If I look out my front window I can see BC one direction and Idaho the other way. Hope that helps.

Hmmm. Maybe there is some 231 working its way through distribution channels. Hmm. Hope it does not magically start appearing all over the place. I've got so much 231 and HP-38 on backorder at so many places that if it does become widely available, I may just wind up with tons of it being shipped to me all at once before I can click "cancel".... I may need to rent a warehouse!

My local sporting goods store people told me that their stocking was done at night, so if you want something, be there when the door opens. The stuff does not sit on the shelf for long.

Well, that's certainly one valid way to get it. About a month ago, I decided I needed some small pistol primers and some Titegroup. I used an online vendor that takes back orders. They had the primers in stock, so I had them in a week. The Titegroup shipped today. Minimal effort on my part, just the way I like it.

I believe you about the Bullseye and Unique. I call BS on the 231 though. Kidding of course. Good to hear it hasn't gone the way of the dodo.
