Freedom Arms Carbide Forcing Cone???

So I've been looking at a Freedom Arms 454. Actually been looking at a lot of different ones. There are sooo many options but I've never heard of anything like this.

If you Google "freedom arms" carbide forcing cone. You come up with a Model 83 that the owner claims has a carbide forcing cone. Is this true or even possible? I've seen carbide forcing cone or muzzle crowning cutters but never the forcing cone itself.

I'll likely go with magna-ported barrel, action job and some sort of sites that look good to me when I see them...but a carbide forcing cone?

Early FA 83's in .454 did have replaceable forcing cones, here is Casull's patent.

I think it highly improbable. It would be quite an engineering feat to keep separate forcing cones and barrels from coming apart.

i don't think you really want to use carbide as part of a pressure vessel either
