Mine were all bought used. I got 3 from the same gentleman, a frequent poster on greybeard. All were a saving off of retail. Having said that, if there was a configuration that I wanted, I wouldn't hesitate to order new. The only aftermarket work I had done was porting by magna port on one of the 454's. If u plan to be in the Massachusetts area anytime this fall u are welcome to try them out on my range

Obviously a used FA is going to be less than a new one, or a custom gun but that was not mentioned in the OP.
